Beat the Market is an interactive microeconomics game that immerses students in the real world of market competition. The game enables students to manage their own firm while competing against “computer-managed” firms or other students under a variety of markets:

Perfect Competition, Monopoly, Monopolistic Competition, Oligopoly

Drawing upon their understanding of and ability to apply microeconomic concepts and tools of analysis, students try to “beat the market.” The “hands-on experience” enhances their understanding and retention of microeconomic concepts.
